from 12am, been trying to log on to the network hub connecting several laptops and also trying to tap on the weak wireless network in the canteen. then only a few people working on the registration as not everyone knew how to use the software nor what to do. some started watching video, some played CS all the way till about 5am where a few had left.
Then we started to send emails out and by 630am, we finally went back. poor me promised to help my friend print lecture notes before hand, i had to make it to the 830am lecture no matter what. so i lay on my bed for 45 mins before i got a wake up call from someone :) first thing in the morning that i heard :) perked me up to go to sch...
ok may sound like i am complaining, but towards the end, i could feel that we really want to help each other out and the team spirit was there. so i am glad i did not go back early...

valentine day coming... what are you getting for your partner?
i mean girls who are looking forward to being pampered, be spolit should be ditched! read in a news article, a few of the NTU girls said public transport is not an option o_O gulps. so demanding, no wonder some of them are still single... there is one even worse, she wants no less than an extravagant dinner at Equinox or cable-car dining. and the statement ended 'She is currently unattached'. like duh?
a typical girl would be pleased by surprise. no need for expensive surprise. it could be composing a love poem or song and if you cant sing and you sing, hey, it's a plus point :) i know its cliché but it's from the heart, priceless. i can have all the money to buy gifts to all the girls but i dun prepare and put in effort to do something for everyone, so get the hint?
well as for guys, i guess the most important is to enjoy what he had planned, being egoistic guys, most important is to make him feel appreciated and wanted. dun play mind games la ~ dun drop hints and expect us to know what you want. if you want that kind of guy, find santa... love cannot be measured by how much he is willing to spend and dun compare your boyfriends with your friends' cos the only way to make them jealous is to show them how much you guys love each other and how simple true love can be. no need gimmicks, no need sweet talk or accessories.
of course, if surprise comes from both sides that would be good cos you cant expect guys to come up with surprise right? when we run out of ideas, you say we are boring? not romantic? sheesh...
like the old saying goes, when you are in love, you should make everyday a valentine's day.
