..:: 376. The One With Sudoku ::..

hey have you heard of this game called 'Sudoku'?
basically it's 9 x (3 x 3) boxes that requires you to fill in the numbers and each 3x3, each row and column can only have exactly one digit from 1-9. challenging. i do until my eyes *stars* cos numbers and me don't go along very well, you see.

addictive if you are patient and got time to spare.

here's the website, try it.

anyway i got 4 tickets to sky symphony countdown on 31 dec. It's near harbourfront mrt. Anyone wanna go? Each ticket is at 18 bucks but i got them free so anyone wanna go? lol.

Oh, went back to nee soon camp today. saw steven on the way to take shuttle bus. had breakfast :) saw the incoming cadets... 82 of them! wow, four platoon. tml they going down various units to 'see-see-look-look'. haiz. should i go down 30 so can talk to them?

oh yeah, phuture is back to hip hop later tonight... gosh... i'm definitely going. any takers? haiz too bad the gals cant make it. mmm...

saw national geographic today, firstly they talked about preservation of corpses... were talking about religion vs science. cos some 'i-dunno-what-is-the-term' died and their bodies somehow managed to preserve very well while most common people would be left with bones.

next was about the collapse of hotel new world, singapore. In the end, they found out that it was the calculation of the dead load VS live load that was wrong, so wrong.

dead load is the just the weight of the existing building without any cooler tanks or whatsoever. It appeared that the calculation of the dead load was wrong and that the 36 supporting pillars were already stressed from the start by just the weight of the building itself. Basically the building is destined to collapse, it's just the matter of time. Then, more things (live load) were added to the building. Soon, pillar nos 26, 32 and 30 gave way and cracked. That led to the collapse of the hotel, resulting in 33 dead with 17 survivors.

wanted to go swimming and gym but it was raining :( arghz.
