after exams, this was the first show as part of my post-exam activities. great way to stress myself up again.



i was so tense throughout the movie and the first few seconds of the preview were the reasons to keep me on the edge of my seat. i swear it's the first time i felt like leaving the theatre cos i thought my heart would stop. lol.

The movie is based on a novel and in the town of barrow, Alaska, to the north of the arctic circle where during winter, the sun never rises for 30 days. this would mean vampires can feed without fear of sunlight.

Having said all that, i still think it's the best vampire movie to date that i have watched. the vampires moved fast enough and cleaned up after their 'meals'. Of course other worth-to-watch factors would be josh hartnett and melissa george. josh became the rugged sheriff while melissa kicked ass. if you like both of them and all that sucking (of blood), this show is not for the faint hearted cos the sun certainly didnt rise fast enough.
