gosh so fast a month has passed! everyday been busy with project discussion, that's why i never update my blog... not much happening also. i am busy but at the same time enjoying all the while. been really blessed with all the people ard me... supportive classmates who always make tutorials so enjoyable. everyone smiles in class :)
this week (after my recess week) was the start of accessed presentations. first up was the marketing project abt this destiny cafe where their targeted market was couples... a cafe and place for them to get cosy and they provide meals and board games. weird thing was that they had this 12 hours for 30 dollars package. i mean... who will play for 12 hrs? in the end they got B+ which was surprising cos our tutor never gave anything better than C.
i think perhaps their targeted group is more of high segment. really scared of my group's cos we target the middle-high segment with a special kind of 'delivery service' like vertu but definitely not as 'class' as a cafe.
next was the case study of banyan tree. the group got an F when they did giordano. so my friend was really scared. just 1/4 through the presentation, the tutor suddenly asked them to cycle through and we were stunned. 'you all can cycle through, easily an A+'. *silence* but i could see my friend grinning thru'out the presentation. what a breakthrough. wah. now my group feels stress to 'upkeep' the market.
ok shant talk so much abt sch. pix time... with my ob (organisation behaviour module) group... we had so much fun doing project...
who says go SMU to study business is better? i guess people here are more 'real' though we are competitive in our own ways. we did our project from 11pm to 6am. everything must have a first, dont u think?
our accessed case study... after discussion, we had steamboat in my hall :) cant have it when u are in SMU. no hostel. :P
went to hwa chong for mid autumn festival... had dinner with the class.
