..:: 397. The One With Movie Week ::..

yup. super into movie mood this week. shall indulge in that topic. firstly i won a pair of tickets to watch steven spielberg's classic munich. at first when i watched the trailer, i felt zzz. but i was pleasantly surprised...



It happened in september 1972 Munich Olympics, an extremist Palenstinian group known as Black September invaded the Olympics Village and killed 11 Israeli athletes. The movie is about the aftermath of the incident. The male lead, Eric Bana, was hired to be one of the killers to hunt down the 11 men accused of masterminding the murder at Munich.

What is nice about the movie is the suspense present everytime they planned an attack. Seeing the plan unfold is a thriller itself. Not every operation is a smooth one. In the movie, it showed why terrorism is a tough nut to crack. If you know a bit of history, this movie would be easier to understand. but overall, it's a really gd movie. with some gross scenes...



Next, let's move on to a more light hearted movie, Rumour has it by jennifer aniston. i watched it because of her. haha. she's really sexy though she's kinda small size. She may not be your typical Academy/Oscar/Golden globe actress but i just enjoy watching her. Feels like watching friends... the granny in the show is interesting. you will definitely laugh in the movie.

dun ask me what the story is about. cos the story plot is quite out of this world. i felt paying 8 bucks was worth it. unless you cant stand jennifer aniston, if not, you should watch it... relieve some stress la.

oh btw, this was my costume for my chingay performance. i looked weird..



went out for dinner with my national camp. wah been about 1 year plus since i last seen them.



then there was this fireworks display at ngee ann city. launch of a new series of watch, brietling, i think.



haha these two days on course at toa payoh hdb hub. can slack.



naughty watching indecent stuff in class?!?!



anyway, on my wonderful birthday, i was on mission exercise. sad x3. i was afraid my bridge who not land properly.

my platoon had to build a bridge which was targetted to be completed in 16 hrs. my aim was to finish before midnight, breaking the record of the previous platoon. In exchange, the platoon can throw me inside the transit gap which was super filthy.

In the end, we DID it!!! i was so relieved. my platoon broke a few records. i had the fastest site marking and my platoon had the fastest decking timing. we took 14 hrs 20 mins. i was very happy cos we had a lot of hiccups at the start, my men were rather demoralised. but in the end, good weather was on my side too!



rewind back to 19 feb, went kbox with my best buddies... they were so sweet to celebrate my bdae... samuel, melvin, jeremy... we ate jap food and then sing kbox. wah simple afternoon but i was so happy. brought back memories.

Andy Sir first to hit my phone with greetings at 0046. i was fast asleep preparing for the exercise. lol.

bro Edmund the new hunk next door had this at 0801...yo john, happy bdae, hope ur days are filled with colours and wishing you all the best for ur career and future, cheers. so sweet hor? having army as a career, is there a future? lol. haf la of course, i dun dread signing on. i'm loving what i'm doing.

just as i started on my briefing at 0810, my elder sis, joanne beeped me with 'happy 20th bdae, wish u all the best'

haha sorry ar, i love to thank all my well-wishers, definitely give u guys a treat.

my national camp cadets, joey and enna seemed to want me to be happy for the rest of the year on my bdae. thanks!

to yenling and siu from my jc dance club, i will keep grooving and burn up the dance floor... dun worry.
