[ 290. The One With My 7th Book Out: An eventful week ]

so many happenings this week.

Sitest (situation test)
Live Grenade Throw
SOC (standard obstacle course)

Had to march 12km to the sitest, first time my feet felt numb. first day of the 3-day sitest, we had to learn basic knots and pick two skills that we want to learn.

medic (most shiong)
signaller (i chose this, cos its just radio comm)
navigator (another slack one)
demo
claymore
lawgunner
mine

i had the list of stations that we went through for the sitest. hee... i was IC for one of the mission and it was a success... first day i wasnt IC of any mission... we only succeed 2/6 missions. the second day we all 6 missions were successes :]
lucky there was a change in assessors...

as for hand grenade, it was once-in-a-lifetime experience... taking cover at the bay and hear the explosion and the vibration. shiok-ful.

after the HG throw, came back for arms drill... sun is bloody hot and i almost fainted, so dehydrated... 10 mins break for a 2 hr footdrill session? all thanks to our sgt major. it was an interesting sight to see him shout at the sgts...

SOC... mmm... its like a military playground. not much problem... but its entertaining to watch others ...
