oh well me organised steamboat-cum-mahjong for my sports camp og in my hall room. went to supermarket bought all the stuff and prepared all by myself. *claps*

the m&m shirt cute sia...

sat went to national library. surprised by the new look. then went for some sinful retail therapy at bugis. bought an adidas tee and 2 freshbox tees... amount to 90+ :(
then went to nus ucc for dance blast! concert. not bad. quite cool to have a ex ntu award winning dj to spin tracks at the back. but hip hop steps kinda limited. a lot of reggae and butt shaking and gang-fight themes :(

sun went for cip at red cross international bazaar at royal thai embassy...

familiar faces...

look at my new tatoo...

plus my second day of sinful act... bought from one berm and belt, one shirt from topman and 2 cute tees from newbie. today 150 :(

..:: 432. The One With School ::..

school getting hectic... quizzes coming up and lots of reading to do. my class super competitive and always wants to be the 'spoil market'. we read extra and produce presentations for even a simple tutorial question. however, i really learnt a lot from the sharing. our tutors were impressed and of course it is to our advantage. only our class meet up every other day. other class say we crazy.

2 sep we had sports ball at intercontinential hotel and it was really fun with all the costumes... didnt have camera so had to 'borrow' pix. more pix will be up.

me and senior alex...

me and osama!

my group in arabian theme. still got other themes. await for pix :)

with our 2 pageant girls from our grp...

econs is really interesting but tough!
now i realise how come there are rebates and having you to keep receipts to get discounts... its hurdle method of price discrimination

thinking as an economist is really intriguing...

i love attending talks... so far attended:

NTU-OCBC talks series: Sex, Lies & Internet: What has it got to do with Ops & Technology
First Impression Counts: Professional Grooming Skills
Learning the ropes to expand your network
The Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry (from P&G)
Intellectual property protection

and the upcoming:
NTU-IIC Financial Interactive Nights - Topics: Fundamental Analysis, stock market outlook, charting and trading online
Brand Consulting

really learnt a lot and can apply to my course. like the intellectual property talks about patents and copyrights which i cover in econs!

university life is really great. so much flexibility and autonomy to study what i like.

cheers.

P.S: thur having steamboat, tv, liqour, mahjong in my hall with my sports camp og.
wed and fri, dinner outings
thur free day. catching movie with my tutorial class
sat: NUS Danceblast concert

..:: 431. The One With Life in NTU ::..

of course must start of with pix update. life in NTU definitely exciting and interesting. thanks to all the seniors and freshies around me.

had inter-hall bash on 11th aug.

at PS swensen before our sports camp mambo night

then the aftermath of clubbing. the whole group stayed throughout and still went for supper!

one of my best clubbing experience...

now for the not so fun part, studying in uni is really different from the times i had in jc. perhaps times in ajc wont that good so i really treasure every moment here in NTU. had tutors that are either associate professors or Dr. kinda cool. very freestyle though strangely most of my tutorials still need to take attendence and my math tutor actually goes around to check our work :(

perhaps in business, i enjoyed the interaction in all my tutorial classes. SMU may protray students being interactive and participation marks are significant but i think my class did as well if not better. Publicity and gimmicks makes 'other' universities look good but i feel i have made the wisest choice here. though 3 yrs accelerated honours is a big short to enjoy life but hopefully those who are searching for a uni next time, think uni think NTU :)

my class super competitive. i wonder raising such high standards at the start of tutorials will benefit us in the long run... later our tutors expect more and we cannot deliver...

today happy sia. for organizational behaviour presentation... got the highest 75. not bad for our first presentation. i spent a lot of time researching and glad it paid off and were relevant and most importantly impressed the tutor.

my whole class took econs b4 except me... i looked so dumb in class. the pace was so fast... cramp 2 yrs of econs into 3 mths. wah. econs tutorial the most stressful...

aikes have to go back to study and tutorials.

P.S: have you all heard mr brown's podcast on mee siam mai hum? lol. damn funny.

..:: 430. The One With School Starts ::..
